On 1 April 2018, the United Kingdom celebrated the centenary of the Royal Air Force. The occasion was marked with a spectacular flypast over Buckingham Palace, while an exhibition at Horse Guards Parade showcased the very best of the RAF’s iconic aircraft and the technological advancements achieved over the past hundred years.
I travelled to London on 10 July with the aim of documenting the exhibition and witnessing the flypast. I also took the opportunity to capture the surrounding buildings, providing a striking backdrop to the magnificent planes and helicopters on display.
These images are featured in my gallery, highlighting both the heritage and innovation of the Royal Air Force over its first century.
